Education

I am a senior Environmental Education major with a minor in Early Childhood Education at Sonoma State University. I want to be an elementary school teacher and I am planning to receive my multiple subject credential after graduation.

Experience

I have years of experience working with children, both in a classroom setting and non-formal settings. I was an Education Intern at the Chabot Space and Science Center where I taught science classes to children. I was an AVID tutor for a year, tutoring high school students in all subjects. I have taken many education classes, as well as environmental science and history classes. I am very passionate about teaching and love to work with students on a one-on-one basis. I always had trouble asking for help in school so I admire students who ask for it and want to help them understand.
